	Diversity is an issue that all parents face on a daily basis. The newspapers have daily stories that discuss diversity. Schools are placing diversity into the required curriculum. Our society is becoming more diverse everyday; we are no longer a melting pot, we are a kaleidoscope of cultures that is constantly interacting, coexisting, and changing.
	Almost from birth, society exposes our kids to prejudice. Society labels everything. Our kids decide if they like food based on color or appearance, not flavor. Commercials stress appearance and TV shows and movies show people constantly being judged on appearance alone. It's no wonder that diversity has become such a large issue for society.
	How can we help break the cycle? How can we nurture a diversity friendly attitude in our kids? How can we get our kids to eat green food? How can we raise the issue of diversity with our kids and foster discussions?
	With Diversity Beans, we have developed a highly effective multi-sensory approach to raising and explaining diversity issues. Kids will see, taste, and talk about diversity. They will learn to like or dislike food based on taste and not appearance. They will learn to be more accepting and to look past outward appearance. When kids bite into our beans, they quickly learn that the colors and flavors don't match. If their favorite bean is cherry red, they discover that red might or might not be cherry. They can no longer choose the bean they want to eat based on color/appearance. They can't smell the flavor. They learn to accept the beans for the flavor on the inside.
